1 Knop Bob

6 February
2010

Auditorium

2008

A beautiful flash game in which you have to redirect ’sound beams’ to the volume meters. It starts with white rays, but it gets more colourful as you progress. Right now, there are 3 acts in the demo with 5 levels each, but their goal is to create 20 acts in total.

3D Pixel Puzzle Game

14 August
2008

Coign of vantage is a nice 3D puzzle game with good Flash graphics and soothing background piano music. Move the mouse until the 3D blocks look like the 2D pixel image on the right, to gather points. I got over 300,000 points the first time, but that’s not nearly enough.

Distraction

9 August
2008

Here’s a fun Japanese game. The game has (distinctive Japanese) simple graphics and colors. While it might look easy in the beginning, it gets increasingly difficult. All sorts of things on the side will attack, distract, and confuse the little yellow bird that is you. Points are gathered by picking up good old cherries, apples and melons.

“The neon forest is lighting up The neon forest is lighting up my brain”: Neon Layers

15 July
2008

Here’s another great Armor Games game: Neon Layers. Get the ball to the exit by switching the neon light, trampolines and conveyor belts on and off. Some levels are relaxed, others are stressful, some easy, others require some thinking, but might turn out to be incredibly easy in the end (e.g. level 13). I got to level 18. Then I had to get back to work.
Update: I cleared all 25 levels. If you need any help, just ask below and I’ll post a hint or the solution.

A fun monday morning game: generating your first band name, with a song title and an album cover using Wikipedia, Quotationspage and Flickr. The first time, I got Money Talks with ‘Like to be sixteen’. List of schools offering the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme with ‘the mother of invention’, Painted Post of New York with ‘Map of our individuality’, La Vie Sur Terre with ‘Because you’re outnumbered’. Anyway, lot’s of instant profit to be gathered here. You can post funny and/or insightful results below.

Monday Morning Movie Game

12 May
2008

Find all the movies depicted in this picture. It’s a flash game by M&M. I couldn’t even find as many as twenty, but there should be fifty. The movies aren’t all mainstream, a lot of the titles are of the horror genre.
